Abstract

This study investigates the impact of relational social capital on employee creativity within the Ghanaian hotel industry. Using data from a questionnaire survey of 260 employees in the Cape Coast and Elmina conurbation, the study employed structural equation modeling for data analysis. The results indicate a strong positive relationship between relational social capital and employee creativity, suggesting that supportive workplace relationships and networks enhance idea generation and service quality. The findings underscore the value of employees’ ability to generate new ideas and deliver high-quality service. The study highlights the importance of fostering social connections to boost creativity and performance, offering practical implications for hotel management, management education, engineering, and counseling. Direction for future for future research are also proposed.
