An Article Processing Charge (APC) is a fee imposed on authors, their institutions, or funders to cover the expenses associated with publishing an article in an open access journal. Aytin Publications mandates authors to pay an APC, encompassing costs for peer-review, editing, publishing, maintenance, archiving, and online access. APC amounts vary by journal and are explicitly outlined on each journal's website, with payment required before publication.
Once an article is accepted and published, the Article Processing Charge (APC) paid by the author to Aytin Publications is non-refundable. After payment and the article's public availability, no refunds for the APC will be processed.
Recognizing financial constraints, Aytin Publications maintains a transparent waiver policy. Waivers and discounts on APC are considered on a case-by-case basis, particularly for authors from low-income countries per World Bank criteria and those conducting research without external financial support. The goal is to remove economic barriers, ensuring authors can publish in Aytin Publications' open-access journals irrespective of financial status. Authors seeking more information can contact the journal through the official email provided on the website.
